Abstract
Globalisation takes different forms in Chile and in Argentine. The early decisions of the Chilean military regime are opposing to the recent choices of Argentina. Whereas Chile appears as a winner, Argentine is going through difficulties. Those two countries evolutions entrance new regulation scales, nor national nor local. The regional level, but also transnational and international ones, are taking a more and more important role. Such emergence looks like an answer to uncertainties that globalisation brings.
