Abstract

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a decrease in renal filtration function that occurs suddenly and characterized by an increase in serum creatinine concentration. AKI incidence varies between 0.7 to 18% in patients who were hospitalized. However, there are limited studies that have described the epidemiology and diagnosis of AKI in Indonesia. The aim of this study was to describe the incidence and diagnosis of AKI in hospitalized patients in a tertiary teaching hospital in West Java.
