Abstract

Hemodialysis is the main treatment for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Such treatment can lead to various psychological and social damage in the lives of patients, as well as impair their physical and emotional well-being in general. This damage can result to a significant loss in quality of life (QL) of chronic renal patients, which is associated with higher rates of mortality and morbidity. The aim of this study is to analize the QL of the chronic kidney patients undergoing dialysis through the application of SF-36 scale.
