Abstract
Nowadays Japan has charging to the unprecedented aging society and in the chronic dialysis patients are similar, and by aging the problem of the psychiatric and dementia cases are increasing year by year and the burden on present institutions show a tendency to increase more than before. Our hospital has not only dialysis facilities, but regional dementia medical center, and aged patient care-ward as well as internal medicine outpatient department. We have accepted chronic hemodialysis (HD) patients, in our medical center and elderly ward, by collaborating with psychiatrists, who are usually unable to maintain hospitalization or outpatient maintenance dialysis in other hospitals.
