Abstract
IgA nephropathy is one of the most common cause of chronic glomerulonephritis, however there is no specific method of treatment however we have been tried methylprednisolone pulse therapy in early stage IgA nephropathy since 1984 and reported a promising result at “New therapeutic strategies in nephrology” meeting which was held at Sorrento in 1990, however this therapy was not so effective in CKD with IgAN. Cell based therapy is an emerging field in nephrology especially adipose derived stem cells (ASCs). We tried MP pulse therapy and SVF in CKD with IgAN.
