Abstract

We study the effect of a magnetic field H oriented along [110] on the hyper-Raman spectrum obtained in a backward scattering geometry from a [110] surface of a CuBr crystal. We investigate the energy E(k,H) being not symmetric with respect to H, we fixed wave vector k. The energies E(k,H) being not symmetric with respect to H, we conclude that the k-linear term plays an important role in the exciton dispersion.
