Abstract
We present here results for the fourth frequency moments of current-correlation functions for liquid rubidium obtained by simulating a system of 108 particles interacting through a potential due to Price et al. These are compared with the results obtained using superposition approximation for the static triplet correlation function involved in the molecular expressions for these moments. It is found that the superposition approximation is reliable as far as the calculation of moments is concerned.
