Moments of generalized logistic random variables

Abstract

For the first time, we derive closed-form expressions for the moments of the type I generalized logistic distribution, the type II generalized logistic distribution, the type III generalized logistic distribution and the type IV generalized logistic distribution. As by products, we give several hitherto unknown expressions for derivatives of general order of products of two gamma functions.
