Abstract

A computationally efficient method for analyzing printed wire-loop antennas on grounded dielectric substrates which uses curved piecewise sinusoidal subdomain current basis and test functions spanning two segments in a moment-method solution to Pocklington's equation is presented. Results for loop-input impedances are convergent, and these, together with efficiencies, compare favorably with computations using entire domain and linear subdomain basis and test functions.
