Abstract

In this conference, I will brie y introduce the theories of resonance energy transfer and molecular fluorescence coupled to plasmon polaritons from weak to strong light-molecule couplings (i.e., from the Franck-Condon to polariton regime). Based on macroscopic quantum electrodynamics, our theories can model hybrid light-molecule states in dispersive and absorptive (lossy) linear dielectrics. In other words, our theory can estimate the light molecule coupling and dielectric loss without any free parameters. In addition, the simulations of quantum dynamics of hybrid light-molecule states and the corresponding numerical scheme will be presented. Finally, I will demonstrate how hybrid light-molecule states are influenced by the interplay between the light-molecule coupling and the vibronic coupling.
