Abstract
Molar Cotton-Mouton constants, mCliq, are reported for about 40 pure aliphatic liquids. For some of these substances infinite dilution values, ∞(mC2), are also recorded. The relationship between mClig and ∞(mC2) is investigated for both aliphatic and aromatic liquids.
