Abstract

Obtaining embryos in vitro through nuclear transfer can utilize many methods. The one used by Su et al. (this issue) is oocyte‐somatic cell fusion. This technique is performed in microdrops of Zimmermann's fusion medium, using a pair of platinum electrodes connected to a micromanipulator and a double electrical pulse of 35 V for 10 μsec.
