Abstract

Chromo-fluorogenic phenomena, well investigated in certain phase states of a substance, become a subject of interest for studying the possibility of their manifestation in several phase states, as well as during the transition from one phase state to another. Synthesis methods have been developed and several derivatives of 6-nitro(formyl)-8-formyl(nitro)spirobenzopyran-indoline have been obtained, which is a molecular platform that makes it possible to realise a number of unique properties, including the barochromic effect in the gas phase, dual-state photochromism, dual-state photochromic cycle and highly efficient fluorescent molecular switches in solution. When studying the barochromic effect, the criteria for a molecular platform that determine the possibility of its manifestation were determined.
