Abstract

A homogeneous preparation of pure human ceruloplasmin was submitted to isoelectric focusing a pH range of 4–6. The properties of the separated subfractions as studied by electrophoresis, copper assay, adsorbance ratio A 610 nm/ A 280 nm revealed more or less heavy molecular alteration produced during the isoelectric focusing process.
