Abstract

Hybrid glasses based on 3(Trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate (TMSM) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) were successfully prepared by sol-gel process. The molecular mobility of hybrid materials was studied by mean of high resolution dynamic mechanical spectrometry technique. The results of hybrid materials were compared with those of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) prepared in the same conditions and interpreted in term of local or large-scale molecular motion.
