Abstract

We have made an extensive 12CO and 13CO(J=1−0) survey in Cepheus with the 4m radio telescope (HPBW ∼3′) of Nagoya University, in order to completely sample dense cloud cores in the molecular gas and to search molecular outflows in these cloud cores. Results are the discovery of two CO outflows and the detection of 34 13CO cloud cores. By comparing the CO data with the associated IRAS point sources, we suggest that the Cepheus region is a very active site of relatively massive-star formation.
