Abstract
Introduction: CCND1 rearrangement is the hallmark of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), identified in greater than 95% of cases.1 There are reports of cases of with complex karyotype that include CCND1 rearrangement for which the classification may be considered controversial. Direct evidence of CCND1 rearrangement as a secondary event has rarely been demonstrated. The authors hope to shed further light into this by presenting a case of high grade B-cell lymphoma with molecular phenotype most in keeping with DLBCL with, CCND1 as a secondary event.
