Abstract
Values of the molar extinction coefficients ϵ λ ir of the incompletely relaxed (e - ir) excess electron in liquid water at room temperature are estimated from an analysis of the subpicosecond time-resolved absorption measurements of Gauduel et al. at λ = 720, 900 and 1250 nm.
