Abstract

The structures of organizational systems and their functions makes fundamental concept of the organizational science. People with their creative activities create numerous organizational systems. A man's work is the material base of development in the sphere of production of new usable qualities. Institutional holders of these activities are companies, as well as special forms of economic systems. Companies are subject of a numerous research disciplines, and organizational sciences deal with it only as an object, and as the result in the process of organizing. The aim of this paper is to point out some of the possible modalities of organizational structure of complex production and business systems. The key issue in that process is how to make a division of labor on holders of executive functions, as well as the extent to delegate authorities to lower management instance, how to compose the organizational segments and provide effective mechanisms for their mutual coordination. The way of solving these issues depends not only the character of the structure, but also and the quality of the organizational structure and efficiency of the implementation of business strategies of the company. The appearance form of the organizational structure (functional or multiline age) depends on the principles on which are jobs grouped at the highest hierarchical organizational segments of the company. If in the composing of organizational segments is applied the principle of centralized performance of activities of individual business functions then it is a functional model, and if it is applied the principle of decentralized performing, where the organizational units are composed by production or territorial criteria, as it is a multilineage (division) models.
