Abstract

Moebius syndrome consists ot congenital seventh nerve palsy associated with other cranial nerve palsies most often of the sixth and or muscoluskeletal anomalies The pathogenesis of the syndrome remains unclear but prenatal brainstem ischaemia is one of the major hypotheses In this paper we report two cases with Moebius syndrome and discuss the etiology and differential diagnosis of the disease Key words: Moebius syndrome congenital facial palsy
