Abstract
Let be a commutative ring with identity and be a unitory -module. We say that has the quasi-pure sum property (qpsp), if the sum of any two pure submodules of is quasi-pure. In this paper we study modules with this property and we give a characterization of some kind of rings in terms of modules with the quasi-pure sum property.
