Abstract
An I-link K is a union of two n-spheres smoothly embedded in Sn+2 and transversally intersecting each other along a smoothly embedded (n − 2)-sphere. The homology groups of the universal Abelian cover of Sn+2∖K regarded as modules over the group ring ℤ[ℤ⊕ℤ]are studied. Bibliography: 6 titles.
