Abstract
The propagation of low frequency and Low amplitude magnetic perturbation in magnetoplasma has been considered. The collisionless Boltzmann transport equation has been solved for the first- and second-order perturbations. The second-order perturbation is found to grow with time and results in density modulation of the ambient magnetoplasma. The geophysical implications of density modulation have been discussed.
