Abstract

We present a scheme in which light is modulated through coherent perfect activity. By irradiating two coherent beams from both sides to a magnetic material and controlling their relative phases, we can manipulate the output light. Through coherent perfect polarization rotation process, large polarization rotation angles can be observed, which makes possible the light modulation. It is realized that this coherent process provides the light modulation by using a very low intensity coherent light.
