Abstract

Cyclooxygenase (COX) is the key enzyme in arachidonate metabolism and catalyzes the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandin H2, the precursor for prostaglandins and thromboxanes’. Two isoforms of the COX enzyme exist. COX-1 is constitutively expressed in tissues while COX-2 is induced in inflammatory reactions’ dysregulated after loss of APC function.KeywordsSodium ButyrateColorectal Cancer Cell LineHuman Colorectal Cell LineSimilar Protein LoadingThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
