Abstract
The dependence of the unsaturated Lorentzian dispersion-mode line-shape function on the amplitude of low-frequency sinusoidal modulation is determined in closed form. The results for signal broadening and shape distortion are plotted and tabulated. A comparison is made with experimental points determined using a Mn++-doped water sample.
