Modular Group Algebras of Simply Presented Abelian Groups

Abstract

Let $G$ be a $p$-local Warfield group and $F$ a perfect field of characteristic $p$. It is shown that if the group algebras FG and FH are isomorphic, then $G$ and $H$ are isomorphic.
