Abstract

With the rapid development of computer technology and the urgent need for the frequent modification of CNC equipment, one of the current research hotspots is the encapsulation of existing design results into modules and modeling the modules to make them extendable. On this basis, the rapid development and configuration of CNC equipment can be realized. Therefore, this paper proposes an extensible transformable model based on object-oriented product modules. Extensible transformable methods, instantiated methods, and extensible sets of modules are also studied. A general module design process is devised. This model simplifies the product configuration process, improves the utilization of design knowledge, and solves the compatibility problem of contradictory configurations.
