Abstract

The present paper seeks to establish connections between the modes of existence and the pratical work of graffiti writers and other urban interventions. Therefore, we develop the notion of network based on the work of Latour (1994), Moraes (2002; 2002) and Maffesoli (2010). We also develop the concepts of modes of existence, instauration and solicitude guided by multiplicity. Furthermore, we forge relations between the modes of existence described by Latour (2013) and the work of urban artists emphasizing that there are changing borders between the modes and their interrelation with artistic, politics and economics manifestations.
