Abstract

This paper proposes a dynamic modeling approach of a synchronous generator in order to build simulators of embarked network. The developed model avoids the accessibility constraints to identify the rotor physical parameters. To reproduce temporal behavior of the rotor, a state space model of its black box representation is proposed. The parameters are identified by a particle swarm optimization algorithm using the results of SSFR tests. A current regulated static converter is proposed to replace the linear amplifier to do the measurements. This solution offer an inexpensive alternative to a linear power amplifier, especially for high power generator. Finally simulations and experimental results are compared in dynamic and steady states to validate the proposed approach.
