Abstract

For ultrafiltration membranes based on a sulphonate-containing polyamide, the basic possibility of controlling their sorption and partitioning properties in relation to bovine serum albumin by immobilising transition metal ions has been shown. It has been found that the modification of membranes leads to a considerable increase in their sorption capacity in the pH region corresponding to the isoelectric point of protein.
