Abstract

Parapharyngeal space (PPS) tumours are rare, usually benign pleomorphic adenomas (PSA),1,2 which can arise from the deep lobe of the parotid or minor salivary glands. Their surgical management is often challenging owing to difficulty of access and proximity of vital structures. Options for the approach include transoral, transcervical, transparotid, and combined methods with or without mandibulotomy, robotic, or endoscopic techniques.
