Abstract

Class II malocclusion is frequently encountered in orthodontic practice. In the midst of commercially obtained fixed functional appliances, churro jumper is one of most economical appliances. Still, the inherent limitations of churro jumper curb its usefulness in orthodontic practice. A modified secure pin is thus designed to bridle the limitations, augment compliance and to dispense an economical as well as effective substitute for economically challenged patients.
