Abstract

This paper propose a modified multi-objective optimization method for distribution systems. Recent distribution system is introduced smart grid concept. It is necessary to consider optimal design of system because of reduction cost and high efficiency of energy usage for renewable energy sources (RESs). However, these multi objects conflict each other, which cannot solve by single objective optimization method. Therefore, multi objective optimization method has proposed to solve the trade-off relationship. The method achieved to solve simple multi-objective optimization problem (MOOP), however, it is impossible to include combination problem to MOOP. In this paper, it is propose that is how to manage combination problem of distribution system on a MOOP by test problems, and an application of the method for distribution system is demonstrated by the modified multi-objective optimization method.
