Abstract

The study is devoted to the using of modified polyethylene terephthalate ion-track membranes with polyvinyl alcohol functionalizing layer for the separation of biological objects. A brief analysis of the peculiarities of microporous ion-track membranes formation is presented and influence of etching regimes on the membrane parameters is demonstrated. The way of the membrane surface modification with the hydrophylic layer of polyvinyl alcohol is shown and experimental studies of the effectivness of functionalized ion-track membranes application for living cell (human lung cancer) separation is carried out.
