Methods Clinical data of 5 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular diseases treated by modified EDAS in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The clinical symptoms of 5 patients after modified EDAS were significantly improved as compared with those before EDAS. Based on neurologic function deficit scale scores, 4 patients were cured and one was significantly improved. Meanwhile, all 5 patients were found with extracranial collateral circulation in CTA or/and DSA. Conclusion Modified EDAS is an effective method for treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.
