Abstract
The development of x-ray machines with non-removable cones (e.g. Siemens Heliodent 70) has necessitated modifications of the equipment for the Eggen technique. A system consisting of an exchangable collimotor and an angulated Eggen filmholder is described. The device may be adapted to any type of x-ray machine with shielded, open-ended cone and may be constructed for circular as well as rectangular fields of radiation.
