Abstract
In this paper, authors have addressed the issues of poor convergence and poor BER of Constant Modulus algorithm in blind equalization. A new algorithm has been proposed by blending the CMA like error function (mean forth error criteria) with Rprop for optimizing the said issues. The proposed algorithm has been verified using Matlab Simulation. The results proves the advantageous improvement in convergence, inter symbol interference (ISI) and bit error rate (BER) for both linear and nonlinear channels as compared existing CMA Equalizer for noisy environment.
