Abstract

In this paper, we construct a new integrable hierarchy by using charged free boson and Friedan–Martinec–Shenker (FMS) bosonization, called modified bosonic integrable hierarchy, which is an anologue of the classical (l−l′)–th modified KP hierarchy. Firstly, the representation of glˆ∞ is given by using charged free bosons. Then the modified bosonic integrable hierarchy is proposed. Next after discussing FMS bosonizations in the language of lattice vertex algebra, bilinear equations of modified bosonic integrable hierarchy are constructed by FMS bosonization, which are rewritten into Hirota bilinear equations by using Hirota derivatives. At last, we consider solutions of this modified bosonic integrable hierarchy.
