Abstract

SYNOPTIC ABSTRACTIn recent years, several authors have suggested modifications of the Warner's (1965) randomized response model and of the Greenberg, Abul-ela, Simmons and Horvitz (1969) unrelated question model by using some blank cards in the randomization deck and by asking respondents to simply say “yes” (or “no”) if a blank card is drawn. In this paper, we examine the effectiveness of these modifications.
