Abstract

Phase inversion method is an important strategy for the preparation of polyurethane microporous membranes. In this paper, the blends of polyurethane/carbon nanotubes were prepared by solution blending method, and the influence of carbon nanotubes on the phase inversion behaviors of polyurethane microporous membranes was studied. The results show that with the addition of carbon nanotubes, the phase separation process was inhabited, and the formation of large pores was reduced. As a result, the homogeneous microporous structure was achieved.
