Abstract
This article looks at the impact of a modifying addition of liquid polyorganosiloxane containing extended alkyl lateral substituents (PENTA-1006) as process lubricant in chalk-filled PVC composites. Demonstrates that this is a good universal process lubricant which improves the conditions for and reduces the energy input into processes of mixing and extrusion of rigid, chalk-filled PVC composites. The strength of the composites is not lessened by this and their material deformation characteristics are significantly improved.
