Abstract

The formation of the multilayer nanotubes of a diameter from 10 up to 70 nm occurs as a result of mechanical activation of amorphous carbon obtained through pyrolysis of sphagnous moss at a temperature of 950°C. It has been established that modification of an epoxy binder by multilayer carbon nanotubes yields an improvement of the material mechanical properties and functioning parameters of the polymer composite system.
