Abstract

We developed a new technique for converting illusory images other than Type V into those of Type V by simply modifying tone curves, each of which corresponds to one of the three primary color components. Experimental results revealed that strong illusions were observed by shaking them. This result may suggest the existence of unknown relations between Type V and other types of the optimized Fraser-Wilcox optical illusions. Abstract
