Abstract

The Republic of Serbia must in the forthcoming years harmonize national legislation in most of the areas with EU regulations. One area in which harmonization is necessary is customs policy that ensures functioning of the unique internal market, and one of its most important instruments is the customs tariff. The Republic of Serbia should, apart from customs tariffs, harmonize a number of other customs regulations with EU regulations. The ultimate goal of modification of customs tariff of the Republic of Serbia is the application of customs tariff of the European Union.
