Abstract
The influence of layered aluminosilicates (natural and organomodified montmorillonite) on the properties of methyl methacrylate binder is studied. It is found that their introduction into a methyl methacrylate binder significantly increases the glass transition point and molecular mass of the polymer matrix (forming in the presence of redox initiating benzoyl peroxide–N,N-dimethylaniline system), bending tensile strength, and specific impact strength of highly filled cold hardening composites.
