Abstract

In the period of 2015–2018, a comprehensive medical and sociological study of the compliance of the professional training of pharmacists graduating from Moscow higher educational institutions with the requirements of regional pharmaceutical enterprises was carried out. As a result of the questionnaire surveys and a series of expert interviews, critically important skills, abilities, and knowledge necessary for young professionals were identified. The results of the study, analyzed and implemented in the practice of the Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia as changes in the academic programs of the Faculty of Pharmacy, are presented in this article.
