Abstract

Dynamic balance is important for maintaining the body. The main goal of the work is to study the effect of gaseous sulfur-containing toxicants on homeostasis. The author used various theoretical methods to achieve this goal. The author presented and summarized the literature data on the effect of sulfur-containing gaseous toxicants on humans under environmental conditions, as well as on exposure to animals of different concentrations (in H2S) and for different time periods (modeling of acute and chronic experiments). The obtained information will help to analyze the mechanisms underlying the development of the pathology of various organs and systems, to study the pathogenetic principles of the action of a number of protectors. These conclusions will further expand knowledge of the degree of severity of the effects of sulfur-containing pollutants in the postnatal development stages, systematize the nature of changes in the components of the peripheral and central parts of the erythron in the recovery period after intoxication, and use the most point protectors in pathogenetic terms.
