Abstract

The article examines the main trends and features of the development of educational migration in Kazakhstan in the era of globalization and internationalization of the educational space. A modern view of the problems of educational migration is relevant, since social, economic and political changes in the post-Soviet space affected the approach, motivation and readiness for educational migration of the youth. The authors examines the factors influencing the scale, structural characteristics and directions of external educational migration flows in Kazakhstan. To prevent “brain drain”, the impact of educational migration and the possibilities of its management are analyzed.
