Abstract

Due to changes in the structure and trends of foreign direct investment (FDI), the development of the world economy has undergone significant differences over the past six years. Prior to 2011, FDI was primarily focused on the service sector (representing 40% of total world FDI) according to United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report, however, the current trend has changed.
